The Holy Spirit has pressed upon the Live Dead Iran team to set aside June 3-9 as a time of fasting and prayer for spiritual unity in Iran.
Will you believe with us that the “springs of living water” will converge forming an unstoppable flood of eternal life? Will you join with us to pray for new disciples, for the miraculous fruit in a barren land? Please let us know that you are partnering with us in prayer this week by signing up here.
“Above this surface was something that looked like a throne made of blue lapis lazuli. And on this throne high above was a figure whose appearance resembled a Man… He looked like a burning flame, shining with splendor… This is what the glory of the LORD looked like to me. When I saw it, I fell face down on the ground” (Ezekiel 1:26-28)
Iranian craftsmen are known for using the lapis lazuli gemstone in creative ways. Beautifully displayed in Persian art and tile crafting, the different shades of blue symbolize heaven and spirituality. Regardless, the places of worship and shrines built to celebrate historical poets are empty of the true awe of God’s glory and redemption.
Heavenly Father, we pray that You would beautify the name of Jesus above all other ornamental design in Iran. We ask that Jesus Christ be known and celebrated, gazed upon and enjoyed, awed for His sublimely poetic work on the cross. We ask that Iranians would know that the resurrection means that Jesus Christ can never be enshrined in a grave! Lord, let the oppressed of Iran know that YOU are enthroned and above all powers and authorities.
We pray for the church of Iran to truly become the beautiful bride of Christ. We pray for purity and love to fill the hearts of all Iranian believers. Cleanse all pride and need for status, making her sparkle with humility and unity. We pray that all believers in Iran would experience God’s glory and fall on their faces before Him is awe and joy. We declare THIS moment in time a glorious hour for the Iranian bride of Christ!
